Local Vauxhall retailer, Tony Levoi Romford is fuelling its growth as the final stage of its £1.5million refurbishment reaches completion.

In response to a surge in demand and changing customer requirements, the business undertook this significant investment to ensure that it could deliver the very best in customer experience. With that in mind, the refurbishment saw the workshop and showroom extended, with both onsite services and the communications system upgraded, to ensure customers benefit from some of the best facilities available.

The refurbishment has seen the retailer install the latest equipment in the onsite workshop to maximise aftersales output and efficiency, while extending its capacity to cater for more customers with an extra two working bays and three vehicle cleaning bays. Continuing to improve customer experience, the dealership has also integrated its sales and service departments in order to better respond to customer demands through team productivity and efficiency. What’s more, the retailer has increased its forecourt size and can now offer customers a wider vehicle choice thanks to its larger selection of new, used and commercial vehicles.

To welcome the growing number of customers to the dealership, the retailer has improved its parking facilities, which can now accommodate 50% more cars than before. However, the refurbishment wasn’t solely focused on enhancing the physical attributes at the dealership, as the retailer also took the opportunity to upgrade its phone system, to ensure that calls to both its Romford and Lakeside sites are answered more efficiently.

The eight month development, split over five key phases, has seen the dealership grow significantly, both physically in terms of the workshop space, improved showroom and parking area, and in the number of employees. So, to match the growth of the dealership, the business has increased the overall workforce to 105 people from across the local area – making Tony Levoi a leading employer in Romford.

Simon Dayes, Managing Director at Tony Levoi, comments: “We are delighted with our new look dealership and the facilities we now offer. The refurbishment was undertaken with our customers in mind as we wanted to ensure that we were providing everything they needed to feel comfortable throughout their vehicle purchase and service experience.”

Over the eight months we have been refurbishing our dealership we have traded as normal, but we appreciate that logistics have been tight, so we very much thank our valued customers for their support and understanding during this exciting time. We’re delighted to welcome everybody along, and with several VIP opening events planned over the next few months, it really is an exciting time to be a part of Tony Levoi.”
