Here at Tony Levoi Romford, we are proud to announce we have been hand-picked to pilot a brand new ‘Go Instore’ service that hopes to change the future of automotive retailing forever.
We are honoured to have been specially chosen by Vauxhall to drive interest via a new channel, providing a unique shopping experience to local motorists of Romford and the surrounding Essex area.
As the times have changed, so has the journey of purchasing a car. In the past, motorists have traditionally made up to four visits to a dealership as part of the buying process. This has now fallen to just 1.5 visits in order to attain a new car. Such change in consumer behaviour has led to the team here at Tony Levoi being tasked to bring the best parts of our physical showroom environment to the virtual world of our website.
As one of the leading Vauxhall dealerships in the country, we are now using live video to bring the showroom experience to digital customers via the ‘Go Instore’ service.
Our General Manager, Geoff Champion, said: “We are delighted to have been chosen to pilot the ‘Go Instore’ service. We understand buying a car can be a stressful time, as it is a very big purchase. Our aim for the service is to offer customers even more convenience and to give back that much needed free time, which is so hard to come by these days.
“This exciting new service will allow customers to research a model of interest, receive live demonstrations and ask questions to a member of our team from the comfort of their own home. Not only that, the customer’s camera is never accessed, so it is a one-way video communication channel, but two-way audio, offering the customer an added blanket of security. We hope the new service makes the process of enquiry or purchasing a car all the more insightful and rewarding.”
The video call sessions that take place between local motorists and Tony Levoi are not recorded or saved and no personal information is taken, unless at the request of the customer during the call itself. So far, the innovative service has seen a sharp increase in customers who have decided to book a full appointment, request a call back or ask for a brochure.
